Ayesha Curry Vs Kim Kardashian?! So its come to this. A debate about two women growing up with completely different lifestyles. Completely different experiences, and goals. This is a great opportunity for people to see how culture, race, and society plays a big role in how we characterize others, as if we are doing anything logical in the first place. The dispute has people picking sides (men and women) about what she prefers to reveal, and how he prefers her to dress. You may be a bit bias to whoever may be your favorite out of the two, which only comes down to a matter of preference. Or it depends on what is the motivation behind why you feel how you feel.
For example, Kim Kardashian revealing her body carelessly over the web may sound disturbing to women who carry themselves in a more “woman of substance” type of way. But to other women she is making money, and I often hear how “close” women are to dropping out of school to become a stripper, (not sure if they’re ever serious) so it comes down to how comfortable a woman is with doing such a thing. Now, many men may not prefer their women to be posting naked pics all willy nilly. Yet, the circumstances all play a part. Like in Kanye’s unique situation, he wanted a woman with her own money, he was quite fond of her, and he was considerably up to date about how she gets down (cough cough Ray J). His “type” seem to be women who don’t wear clothes too often anyway. And that’s not to say those women are any more or less virtuous than those wrapped in scarves, but it is an image that you must be satisfied representing.
So, there isn’t any winner or loser in the Curry vs Kardashian argument. Ayesha plays her role well as a great wife to her husband. What we have here is a comparison of two individuals who lifestyles are completely different. Personally, I wouldn’t want my woman posting naked pics over the internet. So yea, Ayesha Curry has a mentality that would be more of a fit to my personality. They’re both beautiful women, so realistically it comes down to a matter of preference. Women don’t have to show their body, but it gets attention, and money. The women who do take advantage of this shouldn’t feel offended or say she is slut shaming because she doesn’t go that route.
